The Bridge Church originally began in 1925 and for many years was known as Bolton Pentecostal Church. However in 2005 we changed our name to the Bridge Church. This change wasn’t just a change for change’s sake, but we really felt that as a church we are to be a bridge. A bridge that makes connections with people, communities and nations but, above all, helping people to connect with God. We believe that we fulfill this through our heartbeat – that everyone’s welcome, nobody’s perfect and that anything’s possible.
We desire to help everyone who attends the Bridge Church to find a place that feels like home and feel part of the family. One of the best ways to connect with people is through our life groups. Whether you are single, married, have kids or enjoy the freedom of having none – we have so many ministries, life groups and events which you can get involved with.
